'Made it Ma, top of the world!'
To Battersea Power Station's Lift 109 (inside one of the chimneys) to shoot pictures at the top for World Book Day. Passed the job by a friend (thanks Charlie Round-Turner roundturnervisuals.com), I had a day's notice and was allocated 15 minutes to shoot the interiors. As it turned out, I had 8 - count them, 8 - minutes to arrange the interior, check the light levels, set the white balance, level the tripod and shoot 33 different HDR frames (to maximise the bright interior & dark exterior details) in landscape & portrait formats. At least finishing a few minutes early meant that I got out before the full-evacuation fire alarm went off ...
