The Electric Company
One of a set of portraits for The Electric Company, a design & brand agency. Again shot with my regular co-conspirator Damian, these pictures were done on a rooftop in dodgy light & weather and lit with battery-powered, radio-linked flashguns then processed through at least three sets of software and burnished, smoothed, buffed & polished until their own mothers wouldn't recognise them.
The portrait software I use can open eyes, expand pupils, smooth skin, change expression, whiten teeth ... it can even add reflections of many types to eyes and relight the shot after the fact so that pictures taken in the street could be made to look like studio shots with professional lighting (though I do take the trouble to light it properly on site ... is there anything worse than hearing 'We can fix it in post-production, right?')
