Shooting pictures for the daily online bulletin at Conexpo in Las Vegas for a week in 2023 I felt like Nick Nolte in Under Fire, the movie that inspired me to become a photographer.

He plays a photojournalist who works in a hostile environment where any misjudgement could have catastrophic consequences & cost dearly ... which is a pretty accurate description of LV.

My lit portraits of CEOs on their stands were all done handheld in under 5 mins using speedlites & radio triggers - it's high pressure work but very satisfying to make something from nothing.
